Salary: $95,000-$120,000 per year
Description:
Taconic, a highly successful global manufacturing company, is seeking a self-motivated individual to work as a Belting Manager in our Belting department.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all activities of the belting department
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and operating procedures
- Assign and delegate responsibilities for specific tasks, resolve problems and prepare schedules.
- Set goals to meet department deadlines.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with 3-5 years experience
- Sufficient computer skills to master M2M, MS Excel, MS Word, basic Autocad functions, and basic statistics.
- Mechanical skills to assess belting constructions, belt design and simple equipment assessments
- Previous supervisory experience preferred with ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good coaching skills
- Must be able to work well with others and prioritize based on changing work conditions.
