Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Description:
Taconic, a highly successful global manufacturing company, is seeking a self-motivated, responsible individual to work as an Engineering Technician in our Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
- Coating engineering trials.
- Testing new candidate materials.
- Assisting in problem solving of production materials.
- Write reports summarizing test results and communicate results to engineering staff.
- Work with members of production staff and recommend solutions to problems they encounter.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Three years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Must have strong writing skills with the ability to compose Engineering reports using MS Word and Excel.
- Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities, communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with managers and production operators.
- Should have the capability to solve problems using scientific methods.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in completing daily tasks and assignments.
